A local Georgian spice producer, Ojakhuri, is reporting sales growth while maintaining its customer-oriented strategy.
According to the company’s Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Salome Neparidze, in an interview with BM.GE, sales are expected to grow by approximately 15% by the end of the year.
„Our daily goal is to deliver clean, healthy, and natural products to our customers. Demand for locally produced goods continues to increase, and we are actively addressing the challenges“, - said Neparidze.
She added that alongside the company’s growth, the number of employees has also increased, meaning that Ojakhuri is providing more people with job opportunities.
„We are constantly expanding both in terms of product offerings and human resources, and we currently have open vacancies. Altogether, we employ 65 people at this stage.
As for new developments, we have recently added several unique products – crushed jalapeño, dried paprika, and dried carrot. All three are unique on the market, with no direct equivalents in retail chains. Negotiations with supermarkets are already underway, and the products will soon appear on shelves“, - Neparidze explained.
At Ojakhuri, they note that in terms of sales geography within the local market, Tbilisi remains the leader, while the Adjara region has shown notable growth during the summer season.
According to Salome Neparidze, the company’s strategy focuses on expanding both its product range and partnership network. Recently, Ojakhuri’s products have become available in leading traditional markets, supermarkets, fruit and vegetable outlets, and butcher shops. A significant partnership has also been established with the SOCAR chain, where Ojakhuri’s premium-quality mustard is now used in hot dogs.
„The spice market is becoming increasingly dynamic, and we are ready to be at the forefront of these processes – closer to the consumer, with healthier choices and innovative approaches“, - said Salome Neparidze.
